ABOUT US

HAP's Work

Hokkaido Airports operates seven airports in Hokkaido.
We aim to revitalize Hokkaido through three main activities:
We aim to connect to the future.

Services

The most fundamental task of an airport is to support the safe, secure, and smooth operation of aircraft. In addition to ensuring the safety of runways and parking areas, we also focus on liaison and coordination with air traffic control and airlines, maintaining and managing airport facilities, and even removing snow during snowfall and taking measures to prepare for hijackings. We are also working to further improve the efficiency of airport operations using cutting-edge technology, ensuring the safe and secure takeoffs and landings of aircraft.

Our goal is to create an airport where everyone can spend their time comfortably, safely, and securely. In addition to maintaining and managing the facilities, we also strive to improve the appeal of Terminal Building as a commercial facility, and actively work on attracting and managing new stores (sales management and analysis), as well as planning and running new initiatives (pop-up stores and events), with the aim of increasing the number of users and sales.

Another important mission is to contribute to the further development of Hokkaido. We work with tourism stakeholders such as local governments, DMOs, travel agencies, and transportation operators to uncover tourism resources throughout Hokkaido, disseminate information, and develop circular tourism products. We also strive to expand new routes and contribute to maximizing the mobility of the population.

Business system

Hokkaido Airport is divided into a head office and each airport office.
We work together in cooperation with each other.
