Main Hall

This is Portom Hall 's main facility, with movable seating for 330 people. It can accommodate up to 400 people in a theater-style layout suitable for events such as recitals, concerts, and lectures. The flat-floor format with the movable seating stowed away is also ideal for parties and ceremonies that require catering.

The main hall can be divided into two sections. Depending on the event, you can choose to use either the entire hall or half of it.

Full surface

The following are the five basic layouts for full use. Moving bleachers are only available for full use, and each bleacher is individually numbered, allowing for smooth visitor flow for concerts, plays, and seminars with reserved seating.

Facility Specifications

The main hall's greatest feature is its 6.7m ceiling height, which is close to the height of a second-floor building. Not only can it accommodate large, vertically long fixtures, but it can also be used to install hanging objects using art batons near the ceiling, broadening the scope of spatial presentation. In addition, lighting fixtures can be hung in high positions, making them less visible from the floor, giving the space a clean appearance. The lighting effects that can be used are also more diverse than in facilities with lower ceiling heights.

A word from the coordinator

Please be sure to ask for an operator for sound control!

There is a sound control console on the main hall floor. Customers can play music and adjust the volume, including the microphone, themselves, but it can be unsettling to operate it unfamiliarly. Although it will cost more, we recommend hiring an operator (for a fee) to ensure a smooth and successful event from start to finish. If this is difficult due to budget constraints, we can also consider reducing the cost of other equipment and allocating it to this. Please feel free to contact us for more information.
