Transportation to/from the Airport
The shuttle bus and local bus stop area is located near the entrance of the Domestic Terminal Building first floor arrival lobby.
The bus stop area for group tour buses is located near the first floor entrance of the International Terminal Building.

The taxi area is located near the entrance of the Domestic Terminal Building first floor arrival lobby (next to the bus stop area).

There are several ways to get from Hakodate Airport to Hakodate Station, including shuttle buses, local buses, taxis, and rental cars.
The fastest option takes approximately 20 minutes.

Airport Facilities and Services
In general, the opening hours of the Domestic Terminal Building are from 7:00 to 20:00.
In general, the opening hours of the International Terminal Building are from 8:00 to 19:00.
However, opening and closing times may change due to flight schedule changes and delays. For more details, see the Topics section.
All of our stores have phone numbers, so please contact the related store directly.
Restaurants and Shops
The Yamato Transport counter on the first floor of the Domestic Terminal Building offers baggage delivery services from the airport to your home. However, there is no service counter for picking up baggage at the airport.

Each Information Center within the terminals offers free wheelchair and stroller rentals for tour customers and those seeing off or picking up passengers, so let us know if you need one.
For customers with flights, please request these services at your airline counter.

According to airport regulations, pets besides service dogs are not allowed inside the airport. If you need to check your pet in for a flight, please do so promptly with your airline. We apologize to customers wanting to bring their pets for pickups and drop offs, and we thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Yes, water fountains are located in the second floor departure lobby of the Domestic Terminal Building and the first floor ticket lobby of the International Terminal Building. For those who need to take medication, water is provided for free at each of the Domestic Terminal Building restaurants (first floor: Onjiki Niwamoto, second floor/in the departure lounge: Cafe & Diner FLIGHT FRY) and at the second floor Information Center, so please ask anytime.
Hot water for formula and baby food is provided for free at each of the Domestic Terminal Building restaurants (first floor: Onjiki Niwamoto, second floor/in the departure lounge: Cafe & Diner FLIGHT FRY) and at the second floor General Information Center, so please ask anytime.
Hot water dispensers are also available in the Domestic Terminal Building’s first floor departure lounge and the International Terminal Building’s first and second floor departure lounges.
There is an observation deck on the third floor of the Domestic Terminal Building. The glass railing has gaps so that you can get clear shots when taking photos.
Note that the observation deck may be closed during inclement weather.
Parking is prohibited on the road in front of Airport Terminal Building.

In addition, the parking lot in front of the airport can be used free of charge for the first hour after entering.
The airport does not have a post office.
Stamps are available at Lawson on the first floor of the Domestic Terminal Building. A mail collection box is located near the entrance on the west side of the Domestic Terminal Building.

Yes, there are ATMs near the central escalator on the first floor of the Domestic Terminal Building.

There is a currency exchange machine on the first floor arrival lobby of the International Terminal Building.
Foreign currencies (banknotes only) can be converted into Japanese yen banknotes and coins. However, Japanese yen cannot be converted into other currencies.

Yes, we can call customers over the indoor speakers and then relay messages to them. Please note that we cannot directly transfer phone calls.

No, there are no showers at the airport.
There is one changing room inside the women's restroom in the paid business lounge on the second floor of the Domestic Terminal Building.
Airport Tours and Media Inquiries
There is no need to apply in advance for a free group tour. Please feel free to explore the museum at your own pace. However, for tours with an attendant, you will need to apply in advance, so please contact us once you have confirmed the date and time you would like to tour the museum.
- Please contact us regarding peak periods and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
- Please note that due to operational reasons, we may not be able to accommodate tours by staff.
- Please note that tours are not available to passengers in areas where only passengers and disembarking passengers can enter, such as the passenger waiting lounge and baggage claim areas.

Customers using the airport have top priority. Please be considerate when filming so as not to inconvenience our customers.
Guidelines
- Please be considerate so as to not inconvenience customers using the airport.
- When filming passengers or other individuals, their consent is required.
- To film airline counters and airplanes, you will need permission from the related airline.
- Using or filming the road in front of the terminals, the bus stop area, and the parking lot in front of the Terminal Building requires approval from Hokkaido Airport Co., Ltd.’s Hakodate Airport Office.
- Please carry your media permit and wear your company badge (armband) at all times.
- Large equipment (camera cranes and rails) cannot be used.
- Airport power outlets cannot be used, so please prepare your own batteries.
- Filming is not permitted within the restricted areas of the airport.
- When filming stores or check-in counters inside the airport, be sure to obtain permission in advance from each company individually.
- Doing stories on and filming security-related facilities such as security checkpoints is not permitted.
- To enter restricted areas, separate permission from Hokkaido Airport Co., Ltd.’s Hakodate Airport Office or Customs, Immigration, Quarantine (CIQ) is required.
- We may decline media requests during peak seasons (summer, Golden Week, and year-end and New Year holidays) or if we determine that filming would interfere with airport management and operations.
- Note that if you film content not specified in the application form or fail to adhere to the media guidelines, your filming permit may be revoked.
- Please contact us separately about displaying credits when your final product includes the filmed material.
