【動物檢疫所的重要通知】 衹攜帶來自海外的肉/肉食品的人【IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT From ANIMAL QUARANTINE SERVICE】 To travelers who possess meat/food involving meat.
農林水產省動物檢疫所為了防止家畜的傳染性疾病在水邊進入日本，
以肉制品(含有肉、香腸、火腿等的食品)等為對象進行檢疫。
如果您從國外帶來肉類或含有肉類的食品，
請務必在海關檢查前向“動物檢疫櫃臺”申報後，接受動物檢疫的檢查。
現在很多國家都發生了口蹄疫和非洲豬熱等家畜惡性傳染病。
另外，由於禮品和個人消費的肉制品等很難取得檢驗證書，
肉制品和動物制品幾乎都不能帶入日本。
有時會因非法帶入肉或含肉食品等而被逮捕。違反者將被處以罰款或徒刑。

Animal Quarantine Service inspects meat products/food involving meat (sausage, ham etc.) to prevent the spread of animal infectious diseases from imported meat, and keep our domestic animals healthy.
Travelers possessing meat products/food involving meat (sausage, ham etc.)，must declare to “ANIMAL QUARANTINE COUNTER” and have them examined before customs examination.
Japanese law prohibits to bring in meat products/food involving meat (sausage, ham etc.) into Japan without permission from Animal Quarantine Service. Those who bring these products into Japan without permission, can be arrested.
