What is Aviation Day?

The resumption of civilian air travel in 1952 (Showa 27) was a turning point that led to the development of aviation as we see it today.

In 1992, the 40th anniversary of the resumption of civil aviation, with the aim of increasing public understanding of and interest in aviation,

September 20th has been designated as "Aviation Day," and September 20th to 30th has been designated as "Aviation Week."
