Former Kushiro Airport Winter Traffic Restrictions Notice

Please note that the Old Kushiro Airport will be completely closed as follows:

1. Restricted section (former Kushiro Airport) From Kushiro Airport side gate to the Tsuruoka Shrine gate

2. Restriction period: From 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025
*This may vary depending on weather conditions.

3. Reason for the restriction: Snow removal is not carried out during the winter.

4. Detour route: New Kushiro Airport

Warning signs will be placed before and after the restricted areas, and the restricted areas will be closed off with road closure gates.
