"The 29th Tancho Illustration Exhibition" is being held (until September 23rd)
[The 29th Red-Crowned Crane Illustration Exhibition is currently underway!]
The 29th Tancho Illustration Exhibition, organized by the Tsurui-Ito Tancho Sanctuary, is currently being held at Kushiro Airport 3rd floor corridor gallery.
In order to encourage children in areas where red-crowned cranes live to become interested in them, we are soliciting submissions for illustrations of cranes and holding an exhibition of these works.
This initiative, which began in 1994, marked its 29th year and received 351 works, mostly from elementary and junior high school students in eastern Hokkaido.
