A panel exhibition on the special natural monument "Lake Akan's Marimo" - conservation and research efforts to protect the marimo - is currently being held in the departure lobby on the second floor.

Lake Akan, the only lake in the world where large marimo live

This is a panel exhibition where you can learn about the habitat, life form, growth volume, current status of habitat, launch, and latest research on Lake Akan's Marimo, a special natural monument.

If you are using Kushiro Airport, please stop by the venue!
