If you can get close to Chitose Station, which is close to New Chitose Airport and has an adjacent bus terminal, you can use the route bus (Hokkaido Chuo Bus Chitose Line) heading toward Sapporo. On weekdays, weekends, and holidays, trains run roughly every 1 to 1.5 hours, connecting Fukuzumi Station on the subway in about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Fukuzumi Station is a station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Toho Line and serves as a connecting point to the downtown areas such as Odori Station and Sapporo Station. If the airport shuttle bus going directly from New Chitose Airport to Sapporo station is crowded, this route is worth remembering as an alternative option. Just before Fukuzumi Station, there is the Daiwa House Premist Dome (Sapporo Dome) bus stop, which is a good option to get off at during events at the Dome.

[Alternative Route] If you can get to Kitahiroshima from New Chitose Airport, the road from Shin-Sapporo and Nopporo to Sapporo opens up

Kitahiroshima City borders Sapporo City and Ebetsu City, and its distance to the Sapporo center is much closer than that of Chitose City. From New Chitose Airport, buses (stops 7 and 23) run to the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters' home stadium, 'F Village ES CON Field HOKKAIDO' in Kitahiroshima City, and from ES CON Field HOKKAIDO, you can Sapporo the Municipal Subway Tozai Line 'Shin-Sapporo Station', JR 'Sapporo Station', and JR 'Nopporo Station' in Ebetsu City. There is a bus service to the Emperor. Nopporo Station is not connected to the JR Chitose Line by Chitose Station, but to the JR Hakodate Main Line. Even if the Chitose Line is suspended or delayed due to major Snow or signal issues, the Hakodate main line may still be running. The bus schedule differs depending on the match day and the non-event day, so please check the official website before using the bus. If you can get out to ES CON Field HOKKAIDO, you can also take a taxi from there to Shin-Sapporo Station or Nopporo Station. In this case, the distance is shorter than taking a taxi directly from New Chitose Airport, and the fare is easier to keep around 6,000 yen.
