Information regarding parking at Asahikawa Airport during the 9/5 Sky Festival 2026
Thank you for using Asahikawa Airport.
On September 5th, the "Asahikawa Airport Sky Festival 2026" will be held.
Due to the Sky Festival, congestion is expected at the airport and in the parking lot.
Passengers traveling by plane are requested to arrive at the airport with ample time to spare.
Please complete the necessary procedures and security inspection as soon as possible.
During periods of high parking lot congestion, we will implement entry restrictions, prioritizing parking for passengers using air travel.
Even with entry restrictions in place, there is still a possibility that it may take a considerable amount of time to enter.
Additionally, we may refuse parking to those being dropped off or picked up for reasons other than air travel, or to customers using airport facilities.
When coming to the airport, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in using public transportation, including the shuttle bus (details here).
