Overview of actual aircraft training at Hakodate Airport in October and November 2025

Hakodate Airport is sometimes used for takeoff and landing training to train airline co-pilots.

This takeoff and landing training is conducted in a touch-and-go format during daylight hours, circling flight paths around the airport.

Please rest assured that training is conducted with an emphasis on safe operation.

Training is scheduled for October and November 2025 (training is tentative and may be canceled at short notice.)

Dates: ① 4th to 17th

② From the 24th to November 3rd

③ November 7th to 17th

Participating airline: Japan Airlines (JAL)

Aircraft used: ① Boeing 737-800

②, ③ Boeing 767

*Touch-and-go: After touching down on the runway from the landing approach, the aircraft continues its runway and takes off.
