Overview of "Obihiro Airport Sky Day Festival 2025"

Location: Obihiro Airport Terminal Building and other locations
This year, in addition to various events, food trucks will also be present. There will also be events where you can enter areas that are normally off-limits, so please come and join us.
Below are some details about the events being held! (For events requiring advance registration, please refer to the URL below.)
・Outdoor event venues
・Fluffy play equipment popular with children (fees apply)
・Food trucks (fees apply) -Café Pao,titi, Kashiwa Ichido, Farm Bell Veggy, Tokachiya
・Festival booths (fees apply) - shooting gallery, ring toss, toy scooping, snack scooping, etc.
・Vegetable sales by high school students (fee required) - Sarabetsu Agricultural High School, Makubetsu Seiryo High School
・Travel consultation booths: HIS, JTB, Tokachi General Bureau
・Aviation goods sales, training aircraft and small aircraft tours
Aviation goods from AIRDO, JAL, and Japan General Aviation Service (JGAS) will be on sale!
You might even find some rare goods that are hard to find! They're on sale near International Arrivals Lobby on the first floor!
You can also get a close look at the Aviation College's training aircraft! Held at the Aviation College!
・ Fry to Fly Project (recovery of household waste cooking oil)
As part of the "Fry to Fly Project," we will be setting up a collection booth for used cooking oil!
The cooking oil you bring will be used as raw material for SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel), an environmentally friendly sustainable aviation fuel.
There will also be a corner to introduce this project, so please take this opportunity to cooperate with us towards realizing a safe and sustainable society!
<About collecting used cooking oil * Salad oil will be given as a gift to the first 50 customers>

・Operation Gundam R (Recycled)
Operation Gundam R is part of the Gunpla Recycling Project, which aims to create a recycling-oriented society by recycling the runners (the frame of the plastic model) of collected Gunpla.
At the "Sky Day Festival 2025" event venue, we will be distributing "Ecopla" Gundam experience kits, holding assembly experiences, displaying panels to learn about Gunpla recycling activities, and collecting used runners.
* Ecopla distribution and participation in the Gunpla experience event will be limited to one per person. Also, numbers are limited.
* Target age is 6 years old and above. Children under 6 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

- The event content may be changed or canceled due to weather conditions, etc.

Parking lot related
- Regular parking lots are for airplane passengers only. Visitors to the Sky Day Festival are asked to follow the instructions of the staff and park in the "visitor parking lots."
- We are not responsible for any accidents that occur in the parking lot.
- Admission may be restricted during peak hours. Please come in groups of multiple people.
