▶ Overview of the pre-registration event for "Obihiro Airport Aviation Day Aviation Festival 2026"
・Please read the application requirements for each event carefully and apply using the application form provided for each event.
All events will be held on the day of the Aviation Day Air Festival (Sunday, September 13, 2026). Times vary depending on the event, so please check the individual application guidelines.
・If the number of applications exceeds the capacity, a lottery will be held.

• The times listed for each event are tentative and may change due to various circumstances such as flight conditions.

Children will wear uniforms and have their picture taken with staff and mascots. Parents can also wear ground worker uniforms and have their picture taken with their children if they wish. A boarding pass will also be presented as a souvenir. (Children whose uniforms do not fit will wear only a scarf.) |

We were able to observe the ground operations from close up to the aircraft, from when it landed and entered the parking area, to when it departed the parking area and began to taxi under its own power. You can also take commemorative photos with airplanes and working vehicles. Furthermore, there's an opportunity to experience riding in working vehicles. |

No. 6: A Mechanic's Guide to Airplanes

This session will explain how airplanes fly, focusing on the operations that take place around an aircraft from the moment it arrives at Obihiro Airport until it departs. The first 30 minutes will be an indoor airplane class, followed by a demonstration by a maintenance engineer while viewing an airplane from the rampside. |
