Since last year, Tokachi Obihiro Airport has been undergoing renovation work on the parking lots and roads within the airport premises. During the construction period, parking lot closures and traffic restrictions on the roads within the airport premises caused inconvenience to customers.

Construction was completed at the end of May this year, and the "safer, easier to use" Tokachi Obihiro Airport Parking Lot and On-Site Road opened on June 1st.

■ Development of parking lots to meet passenger needs

A new multi-storey car park will be built which can be reserved in advance, and a free parking lot (Parking Lot C) will be provided. In front of Terminal Building, the traffic flow for public transport vehicles such as buses and taxis will be separated from that for regular cars.

A drop-off lane will be set up so passengers can disembark in front of Terminal Building. Disembarking areas for welfare vehicles will also be provided.

■ Introduction of new services

・First hour free

・Customers who spend a total of 3,000 yen or more at restaurants and shops will receive an additional hour free of charge.

*Customers who enter the facility before June 1st will also be charged the fee from June 1st to the time of departure.

■Improvement of roads within the airport

- Separation of traffic flow between regular cars and buses/taxi

・Establishment of drop-off lanes

The temporary parking lot will close on June 1st. We will announce the reopening date in advance on our website.

General vehicles are not permitted to enter the second floor of the multi-storey car park. (For car sharing and unmanned rental cars only.)
