Risk of heavy snow accompanied by strong winds in the Hokkaido region

Due to the forecast of heavy snow accompanied by strong winds in the Hokkaido region this weekend, JR has announced that it will be reducing train services.

○ JR reduced service
 Dates: February​ ​6th​ ​(Fri), 7th​ ​(Sat), 8th (Sun) all day
Details: Approximately one to two Rapid Airport trains per hour between Sapporo and New Chitose Airport will be suspended.
*Further cancellations may occur depending on snowfall conditions.

In addition, bad weather may cause flight delays or Cancelled.

Please check the status of your airline or JR before coming to New Chitose Airport.

Founded in 1879, GOTOKEN is the oldest Western restaurant in Hokkaido. After having the honor of serving both His Majesty the Emperor Emeritus and Her Majesty the Empress Emerita in 1989, our signature dish, the curry, became a national hit and we have continued to convey Hokkaido’s history through traditional food ever since. The new menu item, “GOTOKEN Curry Udon”, represents an exciting new challenge in our long history. Please enjoy the combination of hand-stretched udon ordered straight from the Goto Islands—where the founding head chef came from—and the curry we pride ourselves with.
