During the Golden Week period, the airport will be very crowded, including check-in counters and security inspection. Roads and parking lots around New Chitose Airport may also be very crowded, so if you are using the airport, please use public transportation where possible and arrive early with plenty of time.

In addition, to ensure that you can undergo security inspection smoothly, we ask that you also check the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism website for information on prohibited items and the contents of security inspection.
